Ok Lets clear up some things I noticed wrong on the thread...

1. King Edward is a dirty minded SOB
2. Natives don't actually eat RTC's because they don't beleive in eating white meat and because of the white color of the skin it makes RTC's something which would go against their believes.
3. See Point number one.
4. Refer to point number 3
5. RTC meat is supposedly good and their to thousands of anglers that head down to SA for sport fishing of them and enjoy their shore lunches where the star of the show is ofcourse.... RTC :D

PS See Point number one as I can't stress it enough LOL

My catfish is 10" behind before it get eaten

Im planning to eat mine too if I cant find a home for it soon, its currently at 5" :D need some more growing (1 ft +) before its being consume :D BUT catfish Im not that fond off, cause it got a lot of bones

BUT I wonder how a 12"+ IT (datnoid) taste like.. mmmmmmm :D maybe i should go buy one from pet shop and cook it than wait for mine to grow up  ;)

I was planning to do the same for an arapima giga but at the cost of $150 and license require to keep.. I changed my mind

Catfish don't have many bones at all- just the spine and the rib cage. They make a nice clean fillet when I catch them here- just a pain to skin them.

balot? im not familiar with filipino names, but is that durian? Ive only seen him not like two things-- durian and fermented "stinky" tofu. if you need to know how to butcher the cat, there are videos on youtube. I would give it at least a day in the fridge to defrost completely before starting
