It is finally time to say goodbye to my finned family as they need more space to swim. Very sad that theyre leaving but happy they'll be moving to a bigger space. Time to start another amazon growout this time with crenicichla

Those are some very impressive fish, good to hear their moving to a bigger home. You must have done a great job at caring for them because they are huge do you have any final measurements on them.

theyre actually going to Rod's mega tank at predatory fins. Only way I was selling was if they were going to someone I knew with massive amounts of space. I was close to ordering the Intex Pool (10-Feet x 30-Inch) but the wife wasnt as thrilled as I was about having a pool for fish in our backroom

I'll be honest it was so much easier to clean but I do miss the pool filter sand. I'll be taking the tank back to something like this just a little more driftwood and plants before the menezesi pikes and heros inirida severums get in
This thread would be a good cautionary tale to the "can I keep an arowana in a 20 gallon tank" people. Your fish are making a 180 look small, and that's a pretty big tank.
Funny that you say that, I just had a conversation about that saturday with a LFS employee that told someone the 5" aros they were selling would be fine in their 90g. Sad
