They were also living with dead tank mates that had began to decompose. I mentioned it to the employee there, but he was just rude and dismissed it like it didn't matter. A lot of the other fish there were in these poor conditions. There were a lot of dead fish floating around, as well as a lot of hybrids. It just seemed really "shady" in there to me.
I stopped in on the rumor I had heard that they had the infamous red-tailed arowana, but they just had silver arowana in very poor states of health. It was a weird place.
I agree. Thanks again all in supporting that it is wrong. It makes me feel better to know you all feel the same. I just wish there were more people who didn't just have fish for aesthetic decoration.

Well if some idiot would not buy them then that would stop the promblem. Look at how clamped the fish fins are also. That is why I only deal in Ma and Pop stores. Fortunately there are a lot of Ma and Pop stores by me.
I love these type of fishes....they may be a hybrid..but there are enough of them out there now so people need to quit with their Hitler eradicate anything not perfect attitude about them. So what if they cant close thier mouth...they can still eat, function and live good lives..Well at least mine do.. As for the dying and Tattoos...its SICK, Should really be stopped...but it wont ever be stopped, because fish arent the normal warm and fuzzy animal..
