What about prazipro? Will that work?
Need to phone for that

It'll work but not available. Maybe ask the local shaman to make some black magic Hendre Hendre ?!!!
The LFS owner used dimilin his farm, but didn't have paraguard. Will phone a few more stores tomorrow

Hendre Hendre noticed your getting advice from other forums. :)

1. Suggest not doing a full salt dip as per importer
2. Meds for chicken are farm livestock not recommended.
3. Don't think u need a qt tank. Since u stated not being able to afford it
4. Salt and high temp not gonna remedy
5. Maybe call goldfish pond stores for meds

Bichir worms is easy to treat. Just locate prazipro, paraguard, or any fish parasite meds with metro and praziquantel. Good luck
Will look for those 2, would copper also not work?

Nibblet is more shy and has very apparent spots on her body. Can this get infected in some way? She has MANY more worms on

Any local veterinarians? They use praziquantel and metronidizol for other reasons. My wife is a vet tech she suggested that route. Yes you (bichir) can get secondary infections from the areas near or at worm infestation.

Could look, but worried about cost!

I have kanaplex for bacterial but hopefully it stays away from that

High salt dip, Copper, formalin, malachite green should work as well. How successful I'm not sure.

I don't know what you have available over there....any big box stores? maybe like a Walmart they might have something.....
Man good luck! I hope this works out for you and the polys.

Copper is like a bomb for invertabrates afaik. Malachite green is something I'm aware of too, not sure where to get it either

They don't unfortunately, all the shops are individual franchises. I'm pretty much gonna phone every shop within an hours drive to see what they have. One local shop may have something, they will confirm tomorrow

Thanks! I hope to get it sorted, this plus looming exams is freaking me out!

They are a transparent white with black spots. Can't easily get a photo now
