LoL, that's funny. He has created a net worth of 1.9 billion...yet he is horrible at managing his businesses...:ROFL:Guess he inherited that money...uhhh...NOPE! Maybe he won the lottery..umm...NOPE....Maybe he made that money managing his main business...real estate...ding ding ding! Not bad for a terrible business man..where does that leave you or everyone else who hasn't created that much wealth? And please spare me the bla...bla..bla about the Clippers being the worst manged this and that...broken record...1.9 Billion speaks volumes over your opinions...It is obvious you hate the man and his wealth...we get it.

you would think this recent post would be enough to keep your ego in check enough to not try and deny that you actually said THESE words to DEFEND STERLING,,, Talking about ..well you can re-read your own words....but if you still think people will believe ya ,,,more power to ya... if this (the above rmkblades quote) post doesn't scream "I'M a rich "success" and so is "DONNY"...AND OH, BY THE WAY ....YOU AREN'T....SO YOU DON'T COUNT.... what does?

First off...you sound like a little kid Lee...stop whining...and listen

This is what actually happened...excuse LEE as he is confused. Lee said he (Donald Sterling) "IS HORRIBLE at managing his business..."

...HE IS HORRIBLE at managing his businesses..

THEN......

I said....That's Funny..and you can read my entire quote below....

Lee somehow managed to think that would I said ^UP HERE^ is the same as what he wrote ▼DOWN HERE▼

it's the equation that wealth = greatness that I am arguing against in that post ..my buddy rmkblades , told me in no uncertain terms, that STERLING'S wealth is a BIG reason of his success ( in my assessment he is NOT A SUCCESS , on a societal level), my opinion is also that wealth is not a measurement of success but a fortunate by-product ...I would consider the likes of EINSTEIN, FAR GREATER IN THE SUCCESS CATEGORY...it is my further contention that the MLK , LINCOLN types are constantly having to solve the societal problems the STERLING types constantly create

As we can all see...It is not. My argument was a rebuff to Lee's assessment of Sterling being horrible at managing businesses. Essentially, for being such a bad business man, he has done pretty well for himself. If only half of us could be as "horrible" in business as Donald Sterling...I'm sure we would be pretty content. Never do I use the word great, imply greatness or even suggest his wealth makes him successful. I re-read my post Lee, couldn't find it. I do think that success creates wealth though...something that Lee sees as a vile by-product of one reaping the rewards of - I'm paraphrasing here - But something about a blind squirrel finding the golden acorn...yeah, OK.

I don't know what terrible things happened to you in life...but you are sour and vengeful. For that I am sorry.

you have choices on what you consider to be successful in life and what you want here in america. for me it was raising 6 kids 5 adopted, (4 have graduated 2 to go) and supporting them with a trade, roofing for 26 years. others see a degree, collage, doctors, lawyers, botanist, what ever its up to you and have non to blame but you if you not get it. this defeatist not my fault bla bla attitude is ridiculous. you want it? go get it. only thing stopping you is you.

Rmkblade, why did you leave out lees post explaining that a large chunk of sterlings networth is from owning a basketball team he bought for 13 mil and has inflated in value through no fault of his own as he's been a horrible owner with the team (worse in all sports as far as winning) and it inflates his networth?

That's really all he was trying to point out. That he got lucky on this investment and struck gold through losing over 30 years.

Jeez, he is not wealthy because he owns the Clippers. He owns the Clippers because he is wealthy. 90% of his wealth comes from real estate. He owns most of the buildings on Wilshire Blvd. from Beverly Hills to Century City High Rise apts. The Clippers are not what made him wealthy. If anything, over the years... he has probably lost money on that organization. The only time he will ever see real money from the Clippers is from there sale, if and when it happens.

Is it not calculated into the networth of 1.9 billion youre quoting?

That 1.9 billion only includes the Clippers at a value of around 300 million. That leaves him with 1.6 billions sans Clippers. If the Clippers are currently valued at over 1 billion, well...if and when they are sold...you can add that 1 billion to his 1.6 billion which would make him worth 2.6 billion. So do the Clippers make him richer yes, but they are not where the majority of his fortunes are held.
