Thats the best part, if only i catch alligator gars here in california i wont have a poly tank. :D
Where in the world would you keep alligator gars?

I plan on doing aquaculture so housing a load of bichirs wouldn't be an issue lol

I have a pond in the backyard, its probably 700g-800g. Its all set up already, but thats my dad's koi collection, and for what i know the water dont heat up cause koi are ok with cold water.

That's cool. But that seems a little small for a gar

At an old house in the UK the previous owner had an 8k gallon cemen koi pond before we filled it in. I would like to build an above ground pond in my garden atm

Really easy to maintain, koi's are really hardy fish, my dad change the water once every 4 months, no need for oxygen and my dads filter is a water fall but he only turns it on when its summer. Ill take a pic when i get a chance.

Here is the picture of the pond, sorry i had to take the picture from my room, there is alittle water in it cause i drain the water last friday cause we been having a storm and it rains alot so me and my dad dont want the pond to over flow. Last time it did over flow, koi's got out and seagulls have a buffet, we almost all the koi.
