I dont have a problem with some overstocking, but if your tank looks like times square on new year's eve I dont care about your filtration, wc schedule....ect. It is wrong!I have nothing against understocking. I keep seven solo wet pets, and a couple of understocked ( imho) tanks. But i have nothing against overstocking if it it well done ( and yes, it can be well done, it can be riorously done ).
And Woofy is right. There are lots of tanks out there that are a pity to behold. But because of their condition, because of their ( low ) level of maintenance, not because of their bio load per se.
What is worse, a big, ovefstocked, tank, that works ( and sure has its risks ) or a so called " normal" tank- whixh i am sure is the staple - with a silver arowana that can hardly turn?
nothing wrong lol, as long as they have high filter maintance and couple water changes a week, i see nothing wrong.and its a 180 gallon in the pic, thats better then most that JDM a 75 or under
