ST dat ID

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Given his past Id's I would say second and third pic from the top are what he calls CT. First pic is Indo and the beast in the last pic ST.

Just to show you what IS a CT!

I actually used to refer to those as an orange/gold base, same thing. I remember my last chance for one of these darker gold beauties was back when pulchers just started to drop off the face of the earth (around 2002). I called Rich from infinite aquatics to inquire about lei aros. He knew I was a dat nut & told me to get pulchers now, they're dissapearing quick. He had a 5 to 6inch fully symmetrical forkbar orange/gold base deep bodied pulcher for $180 ("new arrival & prob the last one he would see for awhile") Didn't get him, had enough dats at the time & felt the price was too much since most 5 to 6inch pulchers around that time went for about $100. Now i'm glad I didn't get him cause my other dats could of stunted the beauty or at least held him to lackluster growth for years, but for a while I was kicking myself for not shelling out the peanuts Rich was asking for him before the price absolutely went through the roof
I think your time line are off. Wes still brought pulcher in at 2003, and around 2007, I still found 5" pulcher in $100-$200 range

I already know my short term memory is shot, kind of disapointing to hear my long term memory might be gone too. 2004 the latest before the warning i got from Rich. I stopped spending money on dats in one of those years, so maybe out of the loop soon after. Possibly more got brought in by him & Wes for a few years after. Anthony's tropical fish (another dat vendor) in cali also told me they were gone for gd or at least a long while in that time period. Glad more people got to get them for cheap after 2002

ultimate...it does have bulge, look hard...sometimes there are exceptions to certain rules, so your wasting your time trying to prove indos look like some pulchers. It happens sometimes with one or 2 traits. Look at all of the traits and if it has more IT traits, call it an IT. If more ST traits, call it a pulcher. easy

Looks like this little one is Pulcher then because it has more Pulcher traits. Like I said, you guys are just giving your best guess. Maybe right maybe wrong- no 100% guarantee.
Who says your an expert?
Second bar is perfect thick bar down to nice point to the bottom, third bar has a tiny bump which I have seen in ST and 4th bar has nice bar down to tail wrap like a ST. So with you theory it's an ST. But I say it's just a 3 bar Indo. Throw color out the window- too young and like I said I've seen indo's just as gold as St.

I'm just wondering if the Maury show will DNA test some dats ..... I can hear him now... You are not a pulcher and you are a pulcher! Then you see him yelling there's no way it's got wrong traits!!! Lmfao
