Sorry everyone I'm not dead just been super busy and got really sick for over a month. Was nasty and not good. Also started back to school and everything else so the pond got put on hold a little but I've been making some progress and getting close to the next biggest stage which is fiberglass and then filtration build and window. Here are some updated pics. Nothing super exciting but it's progress and still getting complete. 
So overall its looking look a big plywood box but that's just the start of it. As my dad said it will be fun to see with water in it and know all that went into this project. So far its been great and rather simple but time consuming. The next stages will be far more learning and unknown.
No that is the support for the 600 gallon tank that I'm stacking on top of the pond. Filters are going to be bead filters.
Not sure how many of you have your very first fish tank still but here is mine. The beginning of my fish keeping and the current progress. Anyone guess the size?
