Haha, you came so close but missed the clue with that 2nd one. I’m going to say everything, not just the hints
1st I said I saw it but I never said who I saw doing it. I tried to make you think it was hunter by saying his name.
2nd I had tried to make hunter the most likely suspect by making a huge man (literally), a marine, muscle-y, a history of violent with an attempted murder, and to top it off he is a hardcore alcoholic that when he doesn’t have a drink in a certain amount of time he can’t remember a thing and will do anything to get more.
3rd did you notice where I said that I tore my T SHIRT, I put my phone in the pocket on my DRESS SHIRT, and the woman on the phone asked to repeat what I said because of sounds in the background? That was me changing my clothes. You got close but missed it lol.
4th you were right about the time on the receipts, the mumbling about the battery was that the clock that the receipts were based off of needed new batteries because the times were wrong. (I made sure to put some space between where I said the times. If I had said the 2 times side by side you would have noticed unless you’re the sharpest lightbulb in the box ;) )
5th if you noticed the time difference then you’ll notice that I went after Jason and had 30 minutes between then I got to him and when hunter got there. Go back to the beginning and find where I was hiding behind the tree. Why would I hide behind the tree for 30 minutes or why wouldn’t I be able to convince him to leave when he’s terrified of his brother and he would have known he was coming if I had actually told him ;)?
6th when I said I was going to stop “it” it was not the murder, it was my blood lust which I mentioned at the end.

I kind of made it so that you had to connect a few points and come up with what I meant yourself.
