I hate when I walk into a fish store and see a RTC for sale, 10" long and marked as EXTRA LARGE radtail catfish,:screwy: uhh nuh.

 good one!

My pet hate on this forum(happens in all forums) is when some ballbag goes into a for sale thread with NO interest in whats for sale and starts slagging off and disrespecting the seller, price, fish etc.

Not interested... f*ck off... simple

:chillpill:

Well it makes sense when most of all those sold, let alone reproduced, never make it to that size. :(

I've heard the store owner telling people its full grown:screwy: , how old 8"-10" RTC be 6mths at a guess:confused: .

i hate how my lfs only orders about 4 dozen ghost shrimp a week, so they sell out within' a few hours of getting them, and there all too stupid to figure out how to specail order a weekly amount for me. (i've never ordered anything online and i'm not too sure of it)

well actually, it's petsmart that won't do the special order and the nearest lfs is an hour away and charges almost $1 per shrimp, bogus

That's not really on topic.
PetSmart doesn't special order. That's just the way things are.
I wouldn't use ghosties as feeders anyway. I've seen way too many infected with roundworms (which are incredibly obvious in the transparent shrimp), to ever risk feeding to my fish. I've kept them as pets and through meds have been able to feel comfortable housing them with my fish, but the cost of the meds themselves to treat roundworms really defeat the purpose of buying them cheap to feed them to fish anyway.
Culture your own red wigglers, earthworms or nightcrawlers or something.

i'd never heard of diseased ghost shrimp, but that video is one of the many main reasons i started this thread

especially when those ideas are based on ignornce or stupidity
