haha umm your salty because not all those fish were goin into a 500. im not retarded. you could try be be helpfull and not be such an *******.

Miles was trying to be helpful (at least i think so, LOL). Many of those fish wouldn't fit in a 500g. How was he supposed to know you "weren't a retard" and they weren't all going in the same tank?

The fish you listed were: RTCxTSN, Channel Cat, baby red tail cat, and red belly pacu. Sorry to burst your bubble, but the RTCxTSN, the RTC, and maybe the pacu to would outgrow that tank. The channel might squished in there too depending on the dimensions.

Good luck in the future,
Art

I was just about to say something along the same lines as Artemis.. no one was flaming you Kid...people were interested in your problem and trying to sort out several possibilities...

do not overreact to comments of your fellow MFkers so easily....this is a very nice place for you to learn (as we all do ), so lighten up, ok?

man I am such a jerk sometimes :D not the new guys fault.

So yeah anyways I still say Ammonia ~ your test kit must be broken.

Cloudy Water

Bacterial Bloom

Ammonia

Ammonia = #1 killer of fish.

unless the cloudy water was particles floating in the water which wouldn't kill fish that quickly..

an ammonia spike would definitely take out the largest or more active tankmates (bigger fish take in more ammonia through osmosis, hint hint)

i kept some of the water becasue i planed on taking it to my lfs to get tested. my mom decided not to take me so i went to petco and got aother test. the amonia was fine. so idk?

IMO if you're going to commit to keeping even half those fish you had you should have a test kit on hand at all times, just my $0.02 though.
