  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
every body has a say or opinion here I would think, its an open forum. but the man made a point that as much as every thing I know about fish keeping goes against, his point is valid, 40 something years old and still kicking. If? its to be beleaved and I personally think it is.

But first, we need to prove that this fish is a 40 plus years old.

even if it's a hypothetical (that the fish is 40+) ...it makes for interesting debate ....

Is there any evidence that this fish is 40 plus years old? I agree with the rest, its not thriving, just surviving.

+1

And I'm sure some of the regulars have huge tanks that could house this fish COMFORTABLY! He should tag a sign on the tank that says he will hive 50$ store credit to a fk with a big enough tank and proof of it to live out its life.

Exactly. I am going against the odds to express my opinion. This fish defies so many rules in the fish keeping book but is somehow successful! In my opinion, this just proves that our "general fish keeping rules and guidelines" are not law.

Well. When one of you guys have had a fish for 43 years then feel free to bash him. Nobody on here that ive seen has done that.
So you are impressed with that set up,and, where is your proof that the owner has had the fish for that long?

Assuming it is 43 years old. If not then i take my statement back (obviously)

LOL! :D

Guys, this fish is 43 years old, it is fine. If it was being harmed it would have died a long time ago.

We keep dangerous criminals in 9x5 cells for life and they don't die either but doesn't mean there happy. So I guess given food and clean water anything can live a small space a long time.

@Furious Fish,Well then obviously you must believe everything that everyone says.
