I underestimated how much space is needed for plumming. I was hoping to avoid 90 deg turnsNext stand build 8" lumber. I will do all the plumming into the stand before moving on!!

You have been busy. As far as 90's vs 45's I seen a test on this subject and it turns out that 45's are only slightly more efficient.
The test was done with a mock setup and plumbed with a 90 the flow was measured then the 90 was replaced with two 45. The 45 only improved the flow by 3 gallons in the same time.
Now I know that would add up but what I'm saying is don't worry too much about it.
