Update Of My Growouts And Their Soon-To-Be 550G Upgrade

Just sharing an update of my stock. Currently all between 5”-9”. Amazing how good water quality and high level foods are bringing out their colors. They’re super active and loving life but it’s time for them to get even more room and I don’t like waiting to upgrade so I just purchased a 108”x48”x24” to keep some of the bigger ones until I build their final 1000G.

I now officially have every species of bass that’s available in the US except Mono and Pinima with Monos coming this week.

Honestly I like my azul the best but I only have one so I don’t know if I can say I prefer the whole species. In terms of colors I like my orinos but I’ll probably like intermedias more once they start coloring up. In terms of Spangling it’s xingus for suuuuure

I’ve got some Azul grow outs at the moment there very chill. I’m interested to see all yours grow out.

My azul is my right hand man when it comes to me breaking in new WC bass. He converts them to pellets so fast. No matter what I feed my fish he always slams pellets the hardest. He also trusts me more than any of my other fish so they learn to trust me as well. I got him about 7 weeks ago around 1.75" and now he's just past 5" so he's haulin butt

That’s some crazy growth definitely a credit to your keeping skills. I’ve had mine a few weeks they weren’t keen on food for the first few days now one of mine must be very similar he eats pellets like there his last meal every time. I’d love some more but thinking long term I’d have to upgrade.

Yeah upgrading is always necessary to me. I always get a bigger tank and then think “hm that won’t be enough room”. Like even the 550g is just the middle growout. I’m drawing up plans for a 10’x7’x3.5’ Indoor pond with viewing windows for the final tank. But thank you much for the compliment my fish are my babies. They have a big regimen of different high quality foods mixed with a 30% water change every other day so I think the clean water attests to their growth
