Weight training/Macros/General workouts

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I never thought about it, but I'm over the 1000 lb goal, bench, squat and dead lift. I can't do it now but my best bench was 480lbs, 500 was my goal, still is my goal. I never wanted to have big thick legs, but my best squat was 550lbs, my best dead lift was 565 lbs. Since we bought this house, I was not going to the gym for 2 years. Just started going back in January, I'm currently up to 13 reps for 315lbs on the bench. Here soon I will start working out with 405 lbs. I'm probably not where I used to be, but here soon, really soon I will attempt it to see where I'm at.
What are you running body weight at?

Never did, never wanted to see myself in a singlet :) Right before we got the house, I was trying to break the strict curl record, for my age and weight it was 187.3 lbs. I got to 191, but no official because it had to be done at a meet in Vegas I think. But had to stop due to buying the house. In the meantime I found a 200 lb tire and did tire workouts, those are awesome with a 16lb sledgehammer, trying to find a much heavier one.

As for the counting macros I never do it. Diet is 90% tuna, salmon, steak and chicken but I never shy away from a carb meal if it presents itself. Maybe during my cut I do but any other time I eat freely. Usually 1-2 cheat meals a week

Just don't lock out your knees or you'll have really bad knees. If you lock them out you can easly hyper extend them backwards. 10 plates is pretty good the most I've thrown on was 18 but it gets scary with that type of weight one wrong move I'd get a trip to the hospital
hahaha speaking of, I was in the gym once, and I was on a squat machine, and there was this loud as hell italian dude on the leg press. He had 14 plates on doing like 6 inch reps.

He was shooting his mouth off to his buddy about kicking someone's ass. Next thing i see is him so engrossed in his story to his friend that he THINKS he lifted the stop handles on the sled...and lets go with his legs.

A 6 foot, probably 250 pound dude got compressed into a 4 foot tall person in the machine, and goes to his friend "dude...I'm stuck".

Gets up and in the most guido accent I've ever heard goes "jeeeeesus tommy feels like someone took a baseball bat to my knees!" I laughed so hard I dropped all the weight on that machine and didnt even care lol.
