Hold on buddy! The non natives dont put a dent on native populations. Cichlids and these brackish sportfish dont even breed in same areas. So tell me how these cichlid/cichla hurts our native populations?

Well for starters, Cichla are introduced by F&W. As for the research comment, goes both ways. This coming from an avid fisherman.

Does that mean it's right? because the gov't did it? sheeple...

Ive read all of that thread long time ago. But the natives in Florida have been doing well and coexisted with the exotics for long time.

No. No elimination. That would hurt to many things. I just hope "we'' don't introduce anymore species. Thats all.
