HAHA right. Next thing will be those giant 9' Asian catfish things.
IF they can reproduce in canals or tolerate the weather of Florida but i dont think you will find them in Florida since these giant asian catfish are rare in aquarium hobby.

Anyone see any live pbass, and if so where at, I havent seen a single one alive since the cold :(, really bothering me. I'm hoping theyre just not being as active and hopefully they will come out soon, havent seen near as many natives as i usually do either. My canals loaded with algae cause of the die offs of plecos and smells cause of the dead fish. Birds are picking them off but there were a lot for a while. Im just hoping there were enough survivors to keep everything intact.

yes I read the post, One dude said he saw some and then showed some babies he had before the freeze, I want to get some real acknowledgement of some alive in the wild.

Usually around here Dec to Feb you rarely see them and they dont bite much so hard to tell.

There are some very deep areas that held temps so some lived but how many again till March/April hard to say.

I meant to ask you. Did you have a heater for them or it was fairly deep pond?

I had heater for my firemouths and jewels but when it got to steady 40s at night brought them in as didnt trust the heaters.

My brother in law has a lake by his house lots of red feeder type platys and all lived go figure.

I dont know if he realizes that the state of Florida introduced PB themselves.
