What does a fish see when it looks through the glass?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I guess it all depends. There was a thread the other day how fish like people better when we are naked
but I know they can see you.Why else would fish swim against the glass or get all happy when they see you with the food in hand? They know whats coming.

Only clockwork's fish see through the glass is a tattoo'ed dude in his tighty whity's eatin top romen so his fish get NLS..

They can see me, and get excited when I am preparing to feed. They also recognize me from other people. I rarely startle them when watching, but my grandma was looking in the tank yesterday and they were all freaked out and hiding. They also pretty much ignore my husband since he never feeds them.

Mine can see as soon as I walk into the room, it's a little freaky sometimes...

Last time i walked past my tank naked , when i came bakc they held up a sign and told me to put some XXXXXX close on:naughty: so i guess they can see !!!!!!

I guess they can see us like we see them. But what about that movie "Finding Nemo", the Humbug Damselfish was talking to it's own reflection referring to it as her sister or something??

Sometimes...other times there is glare.

If the room is dark, and the tank is lit, they will just see their reflection.

Many territory disputes have been started in this fashion.

i use the tanks lights as the room light and out on a weekend coming in at 3 or 4am soon as i make it through the door 15ft away they can see me. the Butti likes to watch me play ps3.
The FH used to watch me and my ex in the bed... nothing putting a shirt over the tank couldnt fix :)
