its not native to anywhere, its a stupid hybrid! I'm all for flowerhorns and stuff but when people are crossing two fish within the same species thats just stupid. Its just washing out the genetics.

it is a hybrid. Its not labeled as a amphilophus lyonsi is it? Like I said, its lyonsi X red devil. Theres a whole bunch of them floating around lately. I know what lyonsi are buddy, I had 4 of them and still have one.

The fish in the pic is not there for you cannot say that it is by the common name label... or you can but that means we are both right

Correct on the Lyonsi being a real species but am I missing something here.The seller is using a pic from Rapps of a Lyonsi but only saying the fish in question "look something like this".In the second pic,written on the tank with a marker pen to the top right it states they are Red Lion hybrids?The only thing I see wrong is the use of Rapps pic with out permmision maybe and the statement about them being native to mexico.

They are hybrids .They are only saying they look something like the lyonsi on the tag.If you look in the right top corner of the second pic, it says Red Lion Hybrid.I don't know why they would state they are native to Texas when they are hybrids though?

i think thats what cam was trying to state ^^^
think hes coming from the standpoint that hybrids are cool as long as they are sold as hybrids and not as some knock off or sold as pure bred
