At least they are labeled as hybrids. Does need to remove the bad info on origin though. Also noticed Jeff Rapps name is still visible in the pic

Rapp's photo is of a male in breeding dress...some one recently posted a pair in breeding dress on here that they have.

They get a lot more color in them when they're horned up.

thats what I always figured, I don't like why he posts photos of his fish in breeding colors. It doesn't represent what the fish is going to look like on a day to day basis.

good to know, not like I'd ever waste my money ordering from him anyways. I can get anything I want locally without the cost of shipping. The only thing I ever debated ordering from him was red isletas.

Rapp's has quality fish either way - I've never heard much about him in the lines of negativity.

I think he photoshops a lot of his stuff because most of the uncommon fish out there can't really be appreciated unless they're seen in person.

nice fish Derick, you say hes about 9" now? Mine have grown good for me but they are a lot more aggressive than I ever imagined, even more so than midas and devils.

Have you ever seen a lyonsi aside from on the internet genius? My only lyonsi I kept is currently 7" TL but I've never seen one over 9" and all of the ones I've ever seen aside from the rapps photo looked just like mine.

That Rapps picture is messed up too, I've never seen a lyonsi that looks like that.

That just goes to show that you have never seen a fullgrown specimen like the fish in Jeff's picture. And now you want us to all believe that all Lyonsi supposed to look dull like your half matured fish?

That was Tongue33 ....He pretty much is a cichlid genius, he is just extremely modest
