I voted nic., I had a 15"male that was awsome, love the deep blue and purple, I have 4 costa ricans now that are nice but i can not get use to the difference in color and now want a nic. male. When the nics, get big there is no comparision Imo.

My male Costa Rican, about 9". Flash, loaded straight from SD card.

Great looking Costa Rican, I would like if my male looks similar when he is that size. I just moved him to a 125 so his colors look pretty crappy now....hope the start looking good again. There seems to be a big variety of coloring within the Nicaragua and Costa Rican groups from looking through the photo lounge. Not sure how much of that comes from crossing the two. I think your's resembles some of the nics characteristics.
