If youve never owned a fish im asking about how can you tell me whats best for it? Do you know its behavior? If your telling me a fish gets 30" is that how big your got? If your telling me 400g is that what you have it in?

Just out of curiosity why do people that have never owned a fish that someones asking about respond to a question they ask about the species? This has been eating at me cant bite my lip anymore hahaha. A lot of people are just regurgitating wikipedia or google. Im sure most people asking questions have exhausted the google search bar and come here to find answers from people experienced with the species or problems they may have, not to be told something someone found on google. Sorry long rant lol

I've seen threads where one of the most well known members has never kept most of the fish he gives advice on, and his largest tank is a 55 (I believe). I always thought it was funny how anyone took him seriously.
