I keep my buckets in my stand filled with fish stuff and when they see me doing water changes and the dirty crap that goes in there, they don't even think about using it lol. Try that, take the bucket next time and show them the dirt colored water that is in it and then fill it up with fish foods and your siphons, etc.

WOW! a whole $10.00.... I bet they don't even feed you every day... or pay for the electricity your aquarium uses...
... it sucks when people use your stuff, but even if they ruin your bucket, you should keep in mind that you are still living in someone elses house and using their resources... and that is likely the only reason you have an extra $10.00 to spend on a fish bucket.
so, perhaps intead of expecting them to move "your" bucket, you cold keep it put away and out of sight.
being a kid is tough, but becoming an adult takes alot more effort.

you could alwas do like some one i know the got there coffee mug and painted disgusting stains in the bottom and then reglazed it lol no one uses it at his work anymore xd
