slug even have a short effective distance thats why my h/p is a mossberg 500 persuader. huge spread, deadly, not gonna kill the nieghbers

BTW, a 4-10 was my first real gun. A single shot NEF! I dropped my first deer with a slug from that gun when I was ten!

The poor guy that has to use 7.62x39 to protect his home must live in a demilitarized zone. That's a serious round.

It is an intermediate round with good short range ballistics. I would call him smart thinking and aware of the right tools to do the job that it needs to do..
