Still kind of makes no sense though I think as a business it would be smart to focus on all the consoles to expend the profit even more. Cause only true die hard zelda fans like myself are going to want the limited edition dses and a link between worlds.

^ But thats the thing, they would find it extremely hard to compete in the console market right now with so much hype around the PS4 and XB1... so for them its probably a better idea to focus on the handheld market where they dominate to try and make the most sales there...

I doubt the Wii or WiiU is really making them all that much money in comparison to their hand-held devices which has basically no competition per se...
 
don't mean to disrupt your guys' discussion but i'm looking at a target magazine and there's an xbox one for $500 and a ps4 for $400. both 500GB

why is the xbox $100 more? i'm assuming the xbox one comes with more stuff? I don't know what comes with them

That's true but in the hand held market they would have to compete with apple and other tablets because the tablets are becoming more and more advanced.

I won my xb1 on every2minutes.com Monday always been a PS only gamer til I won. Only took about $500 worth of mtn dew and doritos. No I didn't buy that much but I know a ton of people that drink dew. To the above post the 100$ difference in price is because the xb1 comes with kinnect the ps4 eye or w/e is 60$ so its really only $40 different the xb1 is more of a gamers system that has entertainment features and the ps4 is am entertainment console that plays games

Thats why i said per se at the end... But also as the person above me said mobile phones etc will never be on the same level as a nintendo handheld system... At least not yet ;)

Aside from the kinect aspect, are they ever the same starting price?
 
Good point it's funny cause I play my old game boy advanced more then I play the games on my iPhone
