Sorry for your loss man. Ignore the bad threads, this is MFK not pu$$y fish keeping if you have the moneys and balls to try a combos than do it. BTW i got a 13" indo tarpon, very cool fish to have. It such a pig tho it eat gold fishs like tic tacs:)

I just read that post and it's pretty funny that the OP is blaming the death of all those huge fish on an alleged pesticide spraying by his landlords...lol!

It doesn't seem that he was ever able to confirm that actually happened...what you can be sure of is that tank was WAY OVERSTOCKED AND UNDERFILTERED!

Someone else mentioned that the tank was way underfiltered and perhaps a really large sump would have been much more appropriate, but the OP tried to bite that guy's head off too...see the pattern here?

There's no use trying to reason with this guy because he doesn't seem to possess a lot of common sense and he can't take it when others point out his mistakes.

I think it's way more logical to assume that irresponsible overstocking was the true cause of death, but there's no way the OP would admit that because he's such a pro...lol again.

You might as well blame it on space aliens.

BTW, I'm done posting on this thread...there is nothing useful here, just a bunch of garbage and it's not worth wasting any more time with.

I hope you're done here but just in case you're not....

1. I believe it was determined with certainty that the fish were poisoned. He'd have to confirm though. And

2. those were some fat, healthy fish before they died. If they were going to die of undesirable conditions, don't you think they would have shown some sort of sign of a bad condition (ie: ammonia burns, lack of appetite, lethargy)? They were all gorgeous and there wasn't a scale out of place on one of them!

Stop hatin on the poor guy and start being helpful!

and to my original point @West1 your point about ExoticFishGuy's GATF was so spot on especially after his latest update...except for the fact that he said in another thread its a 230!!!! Thats so crazy that thing looks great too.

thanks! people just love to hate. i plan on just ignoring them from now on. not worth my time when i have 2-3 people trying to attack me while i have hundreds that respect me and what i do. every one has an ******* around them i just happen to have 3-4.

thanks, ya thats what i am saying besides all that i got all of these hoping one would be a vatf and it didn't work out that way, but that situation has been fixed. i am really really thinkin about gettin a tarpon. i just have to see if my rearend or my brakes broke in my truck first. there is some wicked grinding going on. i bet both them fruitloops would think i am a novice mechanic also....

thanks, ya it didn't work but i have excepted that and i have moved on. thats what you do when you are going against the flow. **** happens it may piss me off, but in the end when one door closes another opens. if this didn't happen i wouldn't have my vatf that i wanted to begin with.

it isn't worth explaining the obvious they just want something to ***** about. most internet "bad*** mother******s" do. in the end i have decided i am just going to ignore them. just like in person sales man witch one of them is an internet salesman even worse.

oh ya it was confermend that they were posined, but they can't read that part just that part were they think i look like a dumbass.
 
P.s back to your original post I would sell one and keep the other, at least u can have the tuffest one out the pac.
But If money wasn't an issue and u can find em , I'd be gettin more to add to the mix- more of a chance of it working maybe.....

i got rid of one. and i am trading the other for a big discus pair. i did get a fantastic vatf though....so all is not lost.
