Your least favorite aquarium fish and why

Platys and mollies. Wayyy too much poop and IMO the least attractive fish in the hobby
I'd agree on the "tooooooo much pooopie " point.
But man I've seen some pretty platies. If you get hold of a good variety that has not been inbred and has poor genetics. They look beautiful in a planted tank . I personally like the bright reddish - orangish tuxedo and the blue - green metallic platies.
As for mollies Dalmatians and large black mollies are cool.

I disagree, flowerhorn get put on a pedestal they don’t deserve. They should be treated like any other amphilophus sp. but ppl act like they are something special, rare or to be exalted when they really are just mutts, nothing wrong with a mutt but it’s not worth more than a pure species.
An olde quote nails it - “a fool and his money are soon parted”

It involves a large amount of selective breeding and culling in flowerhorns. I do agree they are overpriced but won't be as cheap as pure species either.

The culling is what I don’t like. I’ve had a cull and it was still beautiful and loads of personality. It just didn’t conform to Flowerhorn standards in appearance. Unless they’re being culled by being used as feeders, I’m not on board

Lol that’s kinda weird to me, but liking bichir and not lungfish is probably weird to you

I don't consider what you think unusual, really.

It should be noted why I hate bichirs and not lungfish is because lungfish aren't the ones who devour countless innocent pictus catfish, clown loaches, and other general community fish while their owners apathetically look on with a) the erroneous viewpoint that everything was probably going to be fine, and b) the erroneous, cruel viewpoint that just because the poor loaches/catfish/community fish were cheap, it was perfectly fine to risk their lives with (and ultimately have them lose their lives to) the nasty bichir, despite them being entitled to danger-free (read: bichir-free) tanks.
No disrespect to any bichir owners intended but that kind of thing just doesn't happen with lungfish.

On a counter argument, one of the main appeals to such a fish is the ability to devour anything.
