Moved my blue acara into a 70g with NO lid :'(. Also one ttime putting my siphon on a bucket clip on backwards. Whoops! Caught it after only a couple of seconds but still thank God for concrete floors!

I need to spark up my fish life

One time one of my friends came over during a wc. He said he wanted to help . So I let him help. I told him what to do and got him started siphoning. While he was doing that I went to get a couple things. I came back to see that he was putting soap in the tank instead of declorinator. I had no where to put the fish so they all died.:( in the end lost $80 worth of fish and 4 days devoted to cleaning the filters and gravel. Now I do wc by myself so if I mess up then there's no one to blame but me. That was not a good day.

When I first started to get into the hobby I decided that sticking a Black Moor Goldfish in a 7 gallon tank was a great idea, followed by then adding a common pleco.

Sad, sad times.

I decided to turn on a loud war movie while doing a water change... Then I got up to get another beer and got wet feet!

Had a fish stand that wasn't solid, but had space between the legs (more of a table). My dog liked to lay underneath it. One day, he jumped up too fast and took out one of the legs, and 50 gallons of water, gravel and fish came crashing down on my rental house living room carpet. It was a disaster. Had to put all my fish in the biggest thing I could find (a crockpot), while I made a mad dash to the pet store for another tank to try and save them. Surprisingly, they all made it through.
But lesson learned. ALWAYS have a good, STURDY fish stand.
