The prosecution did what they were legally permitted to do and honestly did a fine job. The evidence needed to convince the six jurors just wasn't there.

And he didn't disobey police orders, a dispatcher told him he didn't need to follow.

I think it is beneficial if in the future, if Zimmerman was ever to profit from this, he voluntarily donate all of it to the Martin family. While it may not be his fault in the shooting, he did trigger a tragic event that night.

Anyone who followed the case from the time of the shooting (before it even went to trial) knew this was coming. You'd have to be ignorant of our laws or emotional/biased to see things differently. The evidence just wasn't there to get George for anything

Also, its not illegal to ignore a dispatcher. They are not law enforcement officers either.
 
So now people want to cry about me Using VULGAR language when I only said ass and fool lol. And for the person who said wow english please wow just get off the internet if u Dnt understand me you might be 60 so that's understandable lol. And so you trying to justify every thing zim did because it was legal how about common sense that tells me he should have not followed him, he should not have got out his car locked and loaded come on if he was black he would be under the jail and all you know it. That's why I say he should have at least got manslaughter.

And that's not a legal reason for conviction on manslaughter charges. It's nothing to do with race, Zimmerman is Hispanic and they supposedly get the short end of the stick in the legal system as well.

One question about your laws in USA. Is it really allowed for you to hunt someone and then shot him, if that person does not agree with you to be hunted?
 
Zimmerman wasnt on trial for a broken moral compass or integrity or racial profiling. I'm not accusing or excusing anything, I'm doing what you're suppose to do, which is make an unbiased decision based on what can be proven


PS , if it were me at 17, I'd have been fighting to. Doesnt change my opinion of the court case. I'm sure you'd be able to find enough in my past around that age to paint me as a thug too
 
Innocent until proven guilty. Just be glad that we have that right, many in this world don't. Sometimes bad guys walk, but then again so do good guys. If Zimmerman did lie and wasn't just defending himself in the end he will get his. But until then a seemingly innocent ( of these charges anyway) didn't go to jail for life for not letting himself get killed. Good day for the justice system.

Hello; Not sure what money may be left after all the legal fees are paid. The lawyers did not defend him for free. If there are any funds left over the family may file a suit in civil court for damages. As seen in the past being acquited of a criminal charge does not mean there will not be civil liabilities.

While Zimmerman does not have to do jail time, he has already faced consequences over what happened.
