Zimmerman not Guilty

So I can now arm myself, follow a complete stranger at night without identifying myself, get out out of my vehicle contrary to official recommendation instigating a confrontation and when my MMA training proves insufficient, pull out said firearm and kill said person. This is a win for justice how? This is a win for the guns, guns, guns at all costs crowd and nothing else.

^b) Other than statement from the person on trial, prove TM attacked first unprovoked.

A civilians statement of "we dont need you to do that" means NOTHING. He also did not instigate the confrontation. TM did.

I will just say this.... This isn't the 1st or last time Florida has gotten it wrong. The everyone yelling race this race that.. and to be honest yes this is a race issue. Mr. Martin was a young black man being profiled it happens everyday in every city in this country. Doesn't make it right. The burden of prove beyond a reasonable doubt was on the prosecution. Did they do their job "fully". No will this turn into some 92 riots? No we have gotten better in those areas on so many levels. But just like Mesherle, Zimmerman will have to live with that demon that you took a man's life and "got off". You never know who will be the postman to deliver a letter, school bus driver that will pick your kids up for school. Now I'm not advocating anything but at the end of the day God's Will will be done people. What we need to do is learn from all this and make sure that we become better people. There will be another test there always is. But I wouldn't want to be Zimmerman or Mesherle for all the Cichla in the world....

That should be what you feel like entering this conversation since you had better things to do than pay attention to the trial but you seem pretty certain that Zimmerman committed a crime.

I KNOW he shot an unarmed person....who said I didn't PAY ATTENTION .. I will say again I DIDN'T watch it...and I wasn't consumed by it ... why the personal slams ? YOU guys WON ..WHY THE BITTERNESS and need to argue what happened?

You just said Zimmerman instigated the fight. Now you say nobody know who instigated the fight. OK so lets do some police work. what we do know is Zimmerman has a bloody face broken nose cuts and bruises on the back of his head. Treyvon only has a gun shot wound to the chest. Only having this to go on what do you think happen?

Well, the key issue is the state can not prove Zimmerman was the aggressor; therefore verdict is correct; unless we want a system where it is guilty until proven innocent.

I think Zimmerman fired his gun in a moment of mortal (racial!) terror, and being a huge ponce, the backlash smacked him in the nose and knocked him on his ass. The laws that allow for this type of behavior are despicable and clearly target minorities. And I can't even begin to read the rest of this thread because veiled racism makes *me* wanna buy a firearm.
