Hi guys and girls, I been looking at digital controllers for the 3000watt heater however there doesn't seem to be mainy controllers rated for 3000watt most seem to handle a max off 2200watt which is the inkbird, any suggestions for controllers that handle 3000watt or more would be greatScreenshot_20170427-202936.png Screenshot_20170427-202851.png

Just got a ranco from jehmco and I believe they have a model that handles 3000+ watt Don't quote me on that but check out their site. They prewire them too.

You will be best off to use a large relay. Basically, get a relay that can handle the amperage and then use the temperature controller to control the relay. That puts very little load on the controller itself.

Hi all, just an update: installed the UV which is connected to the pond heater. The weir internal overflow is plumbed in with 2 ball valves to regulate return flow and reduce as much noise as possible.
