Please document the auto drip
Got the idea from DN328 DN328 s setup. Will get all the info and post it up on what I am planning on using. Probably just going to get a jerry can and use that as my reservoir

What's the best way to clean acrylic without scratching it? When it's up and running as well as dry since it's got a lot of dust in it from being built

If it's just dust from being built you may want to just fill and remove water to basically flush from tank AND all your plumbing. Hopefully Novus isnt needed, but Id go with what others are advising if it's beyond just loose dust.

Will use this until in the future when I move and put in a real drip system

I was going to get the Tunze, until my reefer bro suggested SmartAqua as his friends had been using and liked it. I'm sure the Tunze will be just as good if not better, but I really like the simplicity of the SmartAqua. It's been great on two years.

I bought my jug on Amazon in the picture I had for 14 bucks, I think. My bro was going to make me an acrylic one, but I thought jug was fine. You will be happy you got that! Recently I went 12 days with the 5 gallon jug. I always fill to the very top too.

Fill it up already LOL!

Im gunna spray the inside of the tank when I fill to get all the dust out.

And Ill go take a look at that! I dont think I have seen it yet? Was it expensive compared to the Tunze? And I am completely fine with just using a jug which is a hell of a lot cheaper lol.

But I am hoping to begin filling tomorrow or Thursday. Its killing me that I have a little bit left to glue lol. I banged into a couple of the pipes coming down from the external over flow when walking around back so I dont think I loosened them but in my head its freaking me out that im going to have water everywhere.

Hopefully I dont end up with a lake!

I know how you feel hitting the pipes, but it's unlikely you will ever losen the glued connections even if you wanted to LOL. I just dont like any pressure against my bulkheads, even with 12mm glass.

I dont think the Smart top off is more than Tunze. It takes up much less sump space too. Blue Water makes a jug, but the jug looks identical to mine without the brand...Edit, and is more expensive.

lol its just that little bit of doubt that makes you panic. The smartaqua is like $150-160 so thats not bad at all. Ill see if its on amazon too. but the jug shouldnt be to bad to find

The Tunze ato is a great product. I don't currently have one, I sold it when I got out of salt. We will see if its needed, going to do an automatic water change system on my 180 that will do 50 gpd so it should keep its lvl.
