Peacock Bass Help

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Bass has eaten! She still sits on the bottom of the tank though. The bass came up to the tank to eat and missed each piece of food by a mile. Like probably 5 inches away from her mouth she tried to eat it. Finally, I decided to just drop pieces on her face and she ate. Is there a possibility that she is partially blind? This is not the first time she has done this. And also, how did you get Luther and all your other PB on pellets? Ik certain ways on trying to get fish on pellets but I want to know what worked for you.

Thats good news man.

How to get cichlas on pellets? Thats the easiest par of having them in your tank. Bulk him/her up first then do the eat or die method. It works everytime to starve them for some days then start feeding pellets exclusivly. Its only a matter of time before it will munch on pellets like there is no tomorrow.

Sounds like a plan. Is there a possibility of her being blind?

Can you get me close ups of both eyes? I used to have an large kel female that was blind on one eye and it had a certain look that eye.
