Flowerhorn update

Here is an update of my flowerhorn. I've had him two weeks today. He is an insane fish. Eats everything right out of my hand and occasionally lets me pet him. Im so happy with him. Did some different aquascape now. Let me know what you think of my fish and scape? Darker substrate is from day one. Lighter is from today.

His personality is incredible. He is still getting used to letting me pet him. I do it after feedings, otherwise he will attack anything I put in the tank. Sometimes he will still nip me right away buy then usually swims around my hand and bumps me with his kok and let's me touch him.

Tip if you don't do this, be cautious about not getting any chemical in water, use some vinegar to wash hand before putting it in the tank.

I would remove a lot of the sand substrate you really don’t need more than an an inch of sand across the whole tank

Still not sure with this new blue background. But I love the new sand and getting rid of black sand and background.

This looks good, I was thinking about something similar for my planned 75 as well. I am not sure of it's effect on fish's color.
