Ok i can separate them from the other cichlid breeding then
Yeah atleast with the greenies they are pretty easy to find and catch. Just gotta look around the edges of ponds and lakes in the really rocky area's. They seem to love that naturally made caves in rock piles and will eat almost anything that gets too close to it's home. The only problem I ever seem to find is finding ones that are past 4in in size, probably just because they get too big to hide in the rocks anymore so they move deeper into the water then the lil guys.

With bluegill they're pretty easy to find and catch too. Once you find one you found them all it seems and in almost any size. In your area you maybe able to even find coppernose bluegill too if ya look hard enough. I'll post a pic on here of a coppernose I found on Google to give ya a good idea of what to look for if ya do happen to find one, sadly don't have them in my area.

Ok will do also i researched a bit and florida laws say that every species of sun fish is legal exept the green sun fish because their an invasive species. Also that copper nose looks awesome.

Don't know how green sunfish are an invasive specie when they are native to the US. Unless they just aren't native to that area. But I could see how they could easily become invasive with how adaptive/predatory they are.

The coppernose are nice looking but we don't get them here. All we got for sunfish species around here are: flier sunfish, green sunfish, pumpkinseed sunfish, orange spotted sunfish, black crappie, white crappie, gluegill, small mouth bass, rock bass, and large mouth bass.

Btw IDK if it's the same over there but in SD here we can't sell wild caught game fish but if it's bred at home then it's legal to sell because it isn't affecting the wild population. It would definitely be worth looking into the legality of the sale of, wild caught vs captive bred, native game fish species. I would imagine it would be the same but I could easily be wrong, it could be either less restrictive or more restrictive.

Yeah here in florida we don have much in the sense of a body shape similar to that of a bluegill its mostly different species of bass oh also its illegal to have a northern large mouth bass in the south eastern part of florida where im from so i can only have florida large mouth bass and all the species of bass here.
