I, like you, have annoying siblings. She wanted to stock my tank with p Bass. You need to just tell her straight up. Don't wait. Gather the courage, and tell her.
Just got in a big arg

not very good advice, just got in an argument ? she still refuses anything “you want me to take them back to the store, they don’t take back small cheap fish like that” “I’ll just tear the whole tank down and give it away I do not care” I’m starting to go on her side now, it’s better if she doesn’t have a tank at all than have one and it look like this

I take back what I said about your advice, I got through to her she absolutely loves loves loves the frogs she thinks they’re the best things ever and she said to put them for sale on here I mean I hate to do it I love the frogs too so I said I can put one for sale along with the smaller fish so keep one frog the rope fish (temporary) and angelfish does anyone know how much a fully grown albino clawed frog is worth

Well I hope this works out for you. When my Mom gets mad about my tanks I tend to just smile and nod its better to not argue sometimes. I have no doubt that she would tell me to get rid of my tanks in a heart beat if I stepped to far out of line. I try not to push my luck because as cheesy as it sounds I need my tanks they really help with stress it helps take my mind off things. I think you did do the right thing (I might have worded my response differently if it was my mom) but you most likely saved the life of several fish. I cant wait till I can move out and not have a tank limit lol.

Yea I took In what masked shadow said and thought well, life is rough so I’ll be rough too, I tried being as thorough as possible just saying if you do not do this then this will happen I thought If I gave her any other options then she’d find a keyhole in it so I left her with one option and yea there was a bad argument but I’m not just going to stand behind and watch the fish live in that condition knowing there’s a way to help them. I’m just happy that in the end we both apologized to each other and she finally came to her senses and realized, oh hey maybe my son who knows 5 years worth of aquarium and fish knowledge is right about my aquarium that clearly has a problem. Also my tank I’ve found to help with my anxiety, blood pressure and also my adhd surprisingly the tank does the one thing none of my meds can do and that’s clearing my mind so I can actually focus on a specific thing without ten million other thoughts popping to mind

Next up I’ll try to convince my mom to let me have 1 energy drink a week if I give up drinking pop and start drinking more water

Full grown male is probably $20-30. Pretty common, but still large and worth something.
