Dirty tank after camping

Good job on trying to rehome your fish Rtc/tsn Rtc/tsn . It's the right thing to do. A 29g tank is just so small, especially for an Arowana. In your previous posts you talked about getting a 75g. That would open up so much more fish keeping opportunities for you in the future assuming the fish are compatible for that size of tank. GL

In the future a week of not feeding fish vs allowing clueless people to feed your fish.... go with fasting your fish for a week this current stock will be fine for a week.

Another idea in future. Caretaker in charge can feed your fish With premeasured food cups maybe every 2nd day? To avoid tempation of them overfeeding lock ur fish food up!

I think he gets the idea he needs to rehome his fish. 3 or more of his threads have alrdy been flooded with comments about his tank. He’s trying his best give him some slack lol

Thank you lol. But yea I am trying my best it’s just really hard to rehome when I’m in such a small town

fasting is a great option imo. tbh fish don't need to eat everyday at all. heck the carnivores fast in nature for periods of days, weeks, perhaps months. I heard Great Whites only eat once a month. what I do is I usually give my fish a meaty meal before I leave.

Did u get rid of the fish this weekend?
The pet store that I was selling the arowana to got a new shipment of fish before I could get the arowana to them and they didn’t have another tank big enough. The place I got it from said they had too many arowanas at the moment and petco and petsmart could take it but they don’t have a large enough tank or one that doesn’t currently have a bunch of disease and dead fish in

So you weren’t able to give it to petco or petsmart or didn’t want too because of the diseases and small tank sizes? How about the JD?

The arowana. I didn’t want to give to petco or petsmart because they’d be putting him in a 20 gallon with small goldfish. 1. I will not give my arowana to a place that will be even temporarily homing him in a 20 gallon tank 2. Both petco and petsmart do not take proper care of their guppie and tetras let alone an arowana. That move i feel is best for the fish as if I did give to petco or petsmart it would be a matter of days until it got some type of disease or broke its back from being in such a small tank. As for the JD not exactly sure when I’m giving it to my friend but it’ll for sure be within the next 5 days.

They all have a 55 gallon tank for like koi and such right? At least petco does I think. And I think petsmart has some decent sized tanks too. And those are better than a 40.
