1-2 Fish for a 29 Gallon Tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
If you want cons I would suggest staying with the smaller sp. like mentioned Honduran Red Points or Nanolutae both stay under 4in, thats why I suggested lifalli, another smaller sp. That stay under 4in.

Could always go with Apistogramma instead.

If you are only getting one, then maybe, but bear in mind convicts themselves, siquia, sajica, cutteri and spilurus have the potential to outgrow a 29. Ask Duanes about that
I meant only one, guess I should’ve clarified

Beautiful rainbows!!
Thank you! Got them from Kevin at Tangled up in cichlids. I couldn't be happier with the service, or the fish! His shipping and packing methods are absolutely top notch! Definitely hit him up if you are looking for healthy, happy fish! I got my Cuban cichlids at the same time. Both species were spawning within a couple weeks time. I'm totally enamored with them now, all the experience of keeping central american cichlids, without the extreme aggression and size requirements.

jealous of the fins on yours, mine came from the same place with the female missing two whole dorsal spines.
kidding kidding, about the complaining part. I am very happy with them and they just laid their 4th batch of eggs. coloration seems to be consistent in his stock
