I dont see any problem with him eating pleco's, mine were kept with an 8 inch royal and they never touched him... in fact the royal would defend a pellet he was eating from them .... pleco's must taste bad, but the tables can turn, I caught my pleco a few times sucking the slime coat off my goonches so watch for this ... Dats are good, they just gotta be big, mine ate a 5-6 inch IT when he was about the size of your goonch so maybe go 10 inch min on the dat .... no experience with Aro's, but if he's as long as the goonch, I wouldnt be too worried, and I'd make sure the vit is 15 inches before putting him near a 22 inch goonch at the least, even then I'd be nervous, you know my story :( ... I wouldnt see them having a problem with other cats or rays as long as their similar size (as far as the other cat) ... rays are just difficult to feed with the aggressive goonches, but feeding as soon as you turn on the lights helped me, since the cats were adjusting to the light, while rays seem to want to eat ALL the time! Glad your enjoying him man, they are a truly awesome and monster fish

Anyways, he is looking spectacular. Healthy as ever. Try to add some larger tank mates and test him out! Cheaper ones first lol

Probably one of the coolest looking fish I have owned!
Like I don't spend enough time on these sites now I have to do videos. My wife might leave me before I get to video all my fish!!! LOL I guess a video collection is on it's way.:headbang2

No problems feeding this guy. I just hope he knows to spit all the gravel out before he swallows! Anybody heard of these guys swallowing gravel while grabbing food? Should it be something to worry about?
 
Video is labeled private and I cant see it and I'm way pissed! Lol! Mine used to eat SO much gravel, but somehow they sift it in their mouth and always spit it out, but never spit out a pellet, always amazed me ... I'll try to view it on the pc, but you have to make the video viewable to people who have the link, but you can still keep it private, its a you tube setting
