Devil in the box:"Bagarius Yarrelli"

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Video is labeled private and I cant see it and I'm way pissed! Lol! Mine used to eat SO much gravel, but somehow they sift it in their mouth and always spit it out, but never spit out a pellet, always amazed me ... I'll try to view it on the pc, but you have to make the video viewable to people who have the link, but you can still keep it private, its a you tube setting

Working now. I hate "Google accounts"

He is truly in perfect condition, and looks very comfortable ... props to you and mike! Just wait till he really settles in, you'll start being nervous to put your hand in to drop the pellets to him, and his feeding will only get more violent! I think tankmates also help to spark a sort of competative drive, especially rays, mine started flying around the tank for food when I put them with rays ... its amazing how the slightest brush of a pellet against them, and they'll spin and gobble it down in a second

Well I tried a ray in his tank and he freaked out but i didn't get the best part on video but I did get a little of his spaz. So I probably won't be doing rays with this guy. Video to follow.

Don't forget the volume for my videos.
No fish where hurt during the filming of this video!! :headbang2
I removed the ray and put him back in the 450 gallon. On to my next tank mate trial.

Good call getting the ray outa there! :)
This ray was already getting beat on by my big bd/leo so I had nothing to lose. This leo/pearl is currently for sale but in the mean time I have to keep juggling him around the tanks. He healed once already and I tried him back in the bd/leo tank but the bd/leo chewed on his clasper again. I had 2 more short videos of the goonch and this ray but it was nothing more then "whose your daddy" jabs. Too bad it didn't work.

Mine sees me and comes to the front of the tank for food. Super cool.

Thanks guys. Just hope he is compatible with something.

Well the goonch seems to be stressed and I am thinking the 230 gallon is too small for him. He stopped eating and a couple times he has crashed into the side of the tank when startled. Ran into this same problem with my Aimara. Too small of a tank! Yikes, now what can I do as my 450 gallon and 520 gallon are full of fish. Thought I would have more time before I would have to move him.
