Personally I would get an android because I'm poor. If i had the money i would get an Iphone because I want my phone to work when I've rolled my car and im in a ditch.
Iphone 4 = Kids, ladies. They are simple and easy to use
Android = Engineer, business people but more complicated.
IMO, any smart phone that can run Android is much much better than a iphone 4.
And there is no doubt that ATT is worse than Verizon signal.

I have a 3GS and have used a friends iPhone 4. I have to say i have not been happy with apple since the new software updates. Don't get me wrong I love my phone and it does what I need it do, just not as well as other phones probably could. I probably won't get another iPhone, but I am sticking with ATT because I have yet to find a dead spot. Where I live Verizon is mostly dead and no one gets any signal. Where as I have almost full signal everywhere. But carrier all depends on where you are in the US.
Oh and about the phones showing full signal wherever you are, its goes for my friends who have ATT as well. Almost full signal.
HOWEVER, I will say again it depends on where you live. Because lets be honest, in some places ATT has better coverage and vise versa. And it may be that overall Verizon has better coverage, but just in my neck of the woods ATT is better.

i got the iphone 4 but on t-mobile. no issues with drop calls or signals. i havent used the new droids so i cant compare the 2. but in my opinion the style of the iphone 4 looks better. but it all depends on personal preference really.
As an avid listener to all things metal and hard rock(and thereby an anti conformist) i absolutely cannot enjoy an iphone and the conformity it stands for

With apple everything is proprietery theres no home made apps everything has to be approved by the "man" (apple) and sold for 5 bucks a piece with someting like an android people can and do make their own software for it. Apple are a bunch of greedy buinessmen who stopped caring about the quality of their software years ago and now focus completely on marketing their half-assed products.
I don't have either but i would defintely get an android before ever considering an iphone.

Droid 1 Had it since the first week it came out,dont regret a thing I personally love this phone way better than anyother companies phones.
