Loving this, looks a fantastic build. Best of luck.
Can't wait for the fish to show up. Who are you getting them from? Look like Mark H stock to me.
Definitely following this thread.
Makes my small fish room look too small.
You got it right the first time, it’s from DukeTown ?

Thank you for your kind words ?

Progress pic 2020-10-19

Long time and not much progress. Family matters, birthdays and other commitments have taken prio.

Today I’ve been fixing minor thing like cleaning, unpacking and sorting things, finalize the electrical outlets and vent cap in the wall.

I unpacked the PVC items and got a minor shock since I haven’t glued a single pipe in my life and this is overwhelming ??

Anyways, the final package from AquaDecor is back in Sweden and in transit.

The most exiting news is that the fish will ship during next week and my grow out tanks is not here yet ? I have seeded my media for 4 weeks now so it should be full of BB and grime by now. Good times ahead!

Best regards y’all

Grow out tanks placed on stand.
The are on the back pane now and I’ll paint them tomorrow, silicone in glass strips for HMF filter and install bulkheads. Wörk wörk!

The electrician finished the interior of the room today with ambient lighting, the last outlets and exhaust fans ready and humming away.

Just a few minor up dates

The sub central is labeled And 100% completed. It’s neato ?

I discovered I scratched the Outside of the bottom pane of one of the grow out tanks. I tried to take a pic of it but it’s really hard. It’s not a light scratch as in a superficial scratch, I can feel it with my nail and I’m afraid it might work as an indication of fraction when I fill it up. The bottom pane is 10 mm and this is like 0,5 mm, more like a deep scratch.

What are your thoughts about it? You know what arowanas and ray costs but I am in no mood to change out the tank when the fish arrive on Wednesday.

I can’t see / tell from the picture but if the scratch doesn’t run far like completely across the bottom (as you would score glass to cut it) and the tank bottom is supported (tank is level and no twist) I wouldn’t be concerned myself. I think it will be okay.
