Its slow, really slow. I’m waiting for supplies and I don’t have much time for anything at the moment. I received the filtration for the grow out tanks and a couple of heaters etc. just took a shot to compare the filtration for GO vs the large tank extra sump.

I guess more will follow later this week.

I got a question though. Is there any dangers with siliconing in an empty tank in the same room as a running tank? Will the fumes be hazardous to a neighboring tank?

I think as long as you have good ventilation in the room, you shouldn't have any problems with using silicone in the same room as a running tank. You can use a fan to help draw the fumes out of the room through a window or door. I've done it in my fish room but did use a fan and have a window that helped clear out the odor of the silicone.

Shouldn’t be a problem. Venting will help you as well as the fumes are obnoxious

Thank you for the answer ?

Thank you ?
Yeah when I resiliconed my 180 I got close to passing out ? the problem with the large tanks is that I can’t really turn my head away. It takes a few seconds to climb out. Luckily I got a good supply of masks from work and I will install two bathroom fans for the humidity anyways ??

I have replaced the styrofoam under the large tank so now it’s solid.

I installed one of the webcams aimed towards the grow out tanks (excuse the mess?)

I’ll paint the outlets black today as well. Slow progress ?

The stand is powder coated and in place waiting for the grow out tanks.

The ambient lighting is mounted but not electrified.

The electrician will put in the final touches to make the system go live this week or early next week. Just after that the large (right tank in the picture) tank will be moved 1 foot towards the back wall and then all construction is done and everything just waiting for assembly and plumbing etc.

Loving this, looks a fantastic build. Best of luck.
Can't wait for the fish to show up. Who are you getting them from? Look like Mark H stock to me.
Definitely following this thread.
Makes my small fish room look too small.
