If you have a ARMATUS then for get it. But for any other payara species.
TFDfish. com

The ones they have are 4" but they are falcirosus and will grow 1-1.5" a month up to 8-9". So pick up a few and put them in a 20 long or so and fatten them up and them mix them with your payara.

Once they get more then half the length of the payara then they will not be looked at as food.

I just picked up 10. And they are doing great.
where did you get ten new cudas from buddy?

ordered 10 but 1 came in dead.

But they are at TFD fish .com in OHIO

And they are 100% Ace falcirostris (damn I spelled that wrong about 10x) the ones that get the biggest of all the cuda. And the most aggressive eaters and the hardiest of all the cuda.

16-18" in aquaria and up to 24" in the wild.

So now I have 1 10"er and 9 little ones plus 2 Ace minimus. cuda's cuda's everywhere. lol

Here is an adult

Hi i have 2 red tails and was wondering if it is possible to feed them live shrimp vs. feeder minnows.

I have never seen a cuda go after any of the shrimp I have for cleaning purposes.

They eat a primary diet of live fish in the wild.

hey i'm going to buy an acestrorhincus isalinae.. i read that his max lenght is 10 cm.. is that real?

what is the best thing to feed them then other than bought feeders. I've spent a small fortune on those, and was wondering what the best self sufficient fish is that it will eat.

You could try mealworms I did not but it may work.
