Hi MFKers

I already had the first trys getting my poly pack used to hand feeding...but until now i only had success, if i put my hand lower then the half of the tank...but i would like to feed them near the surface (no wet arm every time^^).
Has anyone of you experience in getting bichirs used to hand feeding ?
I would be very happy about every tipp or recommendation :D

I had a big ornate that would eat shrimp from my hand. I’d have to dip my entire arm in the water and hold it right in front of him but he’d get it pretty gently and swim away to eat it. I didn’t do this often but sudden moves would scare him. Worked a little better if I hid my hand behind the driftwood. Same with my datnoid, he didn’t like seeing my hand but would sometimes take food from it if I hid it.

Thats as far as i am at the moment...but i hope to get as far like this:
but i have a little doubt, becaus my aequidens are veeery greedy on every food that gets in the water...especially near the surface. So if i hould the shrimp at the surface, it's gone before the poly could even reckognize it...

My senegals tend to cruise, from there it's easy to feed them on the surface:
