Hello im new and got a few questions..

wow that look nice and clean see thats the thing if i Do a DIY i want it to look cleanly done like that!!

yes it does kinda look overwhelming to make one. i think thats what im going to do so i will make a parts list and set out tomorow to get everything and hopefully build it tomorow..
 
kinda hard to tell what im looking at in these pics.
and you dont know what size sump this is either.
 
when i first started looking into this i though i would buy one instead of making one, and to be honest it probably would have be alot easyer to buy one.
but i am very glad i made my own now, for the fact that i made it the way i wanted and the fact that i take pride in knowing that i made it myself, and theres always something to say about making something yourself.

true very true but with me my DIY usually always cost me more then it would have to just have bought it new OR used because i end up needing to make it twice or buy something twice
 
thats part of the "fun" with DIY !
happend to me when i made a canopy for a tank one time,
ended up i could have bought the one i wanted for almost less than i spent making one.
but it happends some times
 
get some plants to take out some of the nitrate. but for the nitrite, theres not much u can do right now but wait
 
so then what should i do just everyday change out about 10gallons of water? if so how long do i do that before i just start doing about 25% wc's a week?
