wow dat is quite long... I will try it, thx you
Not feeding for all 7-10 days ?
btw can u explain why it would help im interested ?
It’s not long as you think. This allows the meds to finish around that time. So will see whether or not it survives. These kind of events result high probability of dead polys.

he just blew out 8 bubbles and his head is in normal position again. I think I will wait until tonight and if he goes crazy again I will try the salt bath. I dont want to stress him out right now with salt.

4 hours without salt doesn't kill him right?
Or is there a timelimit for the salt bath

No feeding cause if you suspect there’s a torn swim bladder or gut. The last thing you do is feed them. The food and bacteria will enter the body. It’ll turn septic and the fish won’t recover. Even now high chance of dying.

Same like people.

Hold the feedings....once things are better. The fish is acting normal and no more spinning like it is after 7-10 days then can try feeding. Anything torn or perforated should close up ideally.

I don’t think it’ll hurt. No time limit for the salt bath, meaning without salt.
