In that case it should be already on the tank,running and hopefully fully mature...and running as long as thevfish are in the tank.
My oscars are fighting with each other.Is it normal or it occurred because I changed their tank?
Juvenile coloring....that is also normal and they will undergo more changes as they mature into adults.
Adding other fish that are pretty much peaceful and will not compete with them for food couldnt hurt,plus it could draw the Oscars attentions away from each other.....what kind of short tails are they?
I personally raise compost worms/ Red Wriggler in a worm bin but I occasionally collect earth worms.
As far as pellets I recommend Hikari or NLS but even Tetra if those can't be found.
