Hey Balton is there any chance of building a diy type of tank? I've been thinking on the idea myself and placing it out near my patio area.

But I aggree sometimes for one reason or another things happen and changes HAVE to be made.

He has some 6" Jags in. That might do the tric for you. If you ever want to try Frontosa let me know. I have quite a few tanks full.

No, I don't think that's an option. Times are hard right now at the Balton residence.

I not whooped or anything but sometimes the wife gets her way. I don't think it's going to go over well if I tell her I'm getting a second Dovii. This one already goes insane whenever she walks in the room.....like he wants to take her out. (And she wants him out too lol.)

My male is 19-20 inches right now and I'll tell ya first hand that the banging doesn't get any better good luck trying to find him a home. Dovii have a tendancy to claim a lot more teritory than they can reach thats whys he's so agro sorry you have to get rid of him though truly an amazing fish

chc kept his big male in a swimming pool. It jumped out trying to get him a couple of times. I have a big male. I only put him in an aquarium to spawn and I don’t do that anymore. He is ok for now in an 8' x 4' pond without other fish. I put fish in all the time they just never make it.
